Mullans Law Accountants Ltd is run by three Directors who have been with the company for over 40 years and are now a long-established firm of Law Accountants, currently based in Glasgow.
Full support to services is provided by our long-established administrative support team. We have experience in all areas of accounting and offer a wide range of services to firms throughout Scotland.

Gail Moore
Director
Judicial | Private Accounting | Legal Aid
Gail joined Mullans in 1984 and progressed through the ranks earning her a wealth of experience. She now has considerable knowledge in all areas of Law Accountancy which has led to now having particular expertise in Judicial Account preparation and adjustment.
She is regularly involved in complex Court of Session cases throughout the adjustment and taxation of Expenses. She has been involved in taxation of some very high profile cases over the past view years and finds that part of her job both challenging and rewarding.
Janet Liu

Janet joined Mullans in 1986 and has, over the years, has built up her knowledge of law accountancy and is now experienced in all areas of the profession.
Her main areas of expertise are Judicial Accounting, Taxation and Executry charging. She is regularly involved in the taxation and adjustment of expenses and has also been involved in some very challenging and high-profile cases.
Debbie Carr

Debbie is a Scottish Paralegal who joined Mullans in 2016. Debbie has over 20 years’ experience in working in the legal industry and was one of the first Paralegals in Scotland to be registered in two domains. She is qualified in Family Law and in Wills, Trusts and Executries. Debbie has gone onto to gain her SOLAS qualification and is now a fully qualified Scottish Law Accountant. She has built up her knowledge and experience during her time at Mullans and has a vast knowledge of Legal Aid accounts, Private client accounting as well as Executry charging and Judicial Adjustment and Taxation.
Hal Yacoubian

Hal has recently joined Mullans and is making good progress through his Law Accountancy Training. Hal has experience from a wide variety of different industries and sectors which he has been able to apply to Law Accountancy as well as other areas of the business. Hal has primarily been focusing on the preparation of legal aid accounts for submission to the SLAB online system and has also worked on some private client feeing. It is envisaged that Hal will continue his training to develop his knowledge and experience of all areas of the Law Accountancy profession.
Melissa McGougan
Trainee Law Accountant
Melissa has recently joined Mullans coming from a management background. She will progress through her training on all types of accounts over the coming months and will be a great asset to Mullans.
Billy Somerville
Admin Team Leader
Billy has proven to be a valuable asset at Mullans and now oversees the Mailroom and Admin Department together with heading out in the van to deliver and uplift files from clients, where necessary. Billy comes from a management /admin background and it is envisaged his position at Mullans will progress over the years.
Dawn Fitzpatrick
Admin
Dawn has been with Mullans for a number of years and is now a valuable member of the Admin Team. She is responsible for the day to day running of the office and is also responsible for the book keeping side of Mullans, including all invoicing and cash work.
